About Me: Hi! I'm Becky. I'm a college junior, double-majoring in psychology and English with hopes of going on to grad school in library science. I am also an incurable bibliophile. I don't think words adequately describe how much I love books. In addition to books, I love psychology, kittens, Doctor Who, Joss Whedon productions, Homestuck, doodling, trivia, and show tunes. Plus some other stuff, but I'm not so great with the lists of things about me.

What You'll Find Here: Book reviews (labeled "Book Thoughts"), book covers that I think are pretty, book news that I'm excited about, and discussion of things related to literature, reading, books, etc. Basically, I really love books and this blog is a place for me to talk about them.

What I Review: Whatever I read. Mostly, this is YA with the occasional dip into middle-grade. Sometimes, though, an adult fiction book will sneak in, especially when I have one I have to read for class. I tend to prefer the paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi to the realistic or historical with significant exceptions for mysteries and stories about mental health, but I make forays into just about every genre.

How My Reviews Work: I don't have a rating system because I don't like them. Reviews will include the book's cover image, title, author, and series, plus what I liked and/or didn't like about the book. I tend to look for the best in what I read, because I read for pleasure, so I tend to focus on the things I like, and I try to find at least something positive to say about everything I read, but if something jumps out that I don't like, I'll talk about that too.
